Some days are good and some are bad
Some so happy and others plain sad
Some go fast and others tortoise slow
Some deep and dark and others just glow

Some run amuck like  a rushing stream
Some slip slowly into an endless dream
Some bring in colors like an autumn array
Some can be just a hundred shades of grey

Some are melodious like a violin string
Some a cacophony violence brings
Some bring joy in bursts and bubbles
Some strain your mind into a muddle

Each day so different and none alike
Each sings a learning that's so unlike
Each brings a sun, a snow, a rainy day
Each changes you forever along the way
